Remembering Whose You Are
This Sunday at First Presbyterian Church Who are you—and perhaps more importantly, whose are you? This Sunday, Rev. Scott Nowack will share a message titled “Remembering Whose You Are,” drawing from Exodus 12:1–14 and Romans 13:8–14. In Exodus, God gives Israel the Passover as a lasting act of remembrance: a way for generations to remember God’s deliverance and their identity as God’s people. In Romans, Paul reminds believers that the night is nearly gone and calls them to “put on the Lord Jesus Christ,” living lives shaped by love rather than the ways of darkness. Together, these passages invite us to remember that our identity is not ultimately defined by possessions, accomplishments, failures, or the expectations of the world. We belong to God, and remembering whose we are changes how we live. Anthem: “Bless This House” — Senior Choir Worship begins at 10:30 AM, with Coffee Fellowship at 9:00 AM.

Our Members of Session (Elders)
The Elders at First Presbyterian Church oversee and guide the entire life, mission, and ministry of the church as it seeks to glorify God and love our neighbors. Each elder has been identified as a person of Christian character and has accepted ordination into leadership in the church.
Practically, they provide for the worship, finances, building, education, mission, and outreach of the church, doing so by modeling faithfulness in all these areas. They are the servant-leaders of the church.
