Sermon: “Remembering Whose You Are” from Rev. Scott Nowack

This Sunday at First Presbyterian Church Who are you—and perhaps more importantly, whose are you? This Sunday, Rev. Scott Nowack will share a message titled “Remembering Whose You Are,” drawing from Exodus 12:1–14 and Romans 13:8–14. In Exodus, God gives Israel the Passover as a lasting act of remembrance: a way for generations to remember God’s deliverance and their identity as God’s people. In Romans, Paul reminds believers that the night is nearly gone and calls them to “put on the Lord Jesus Christ,” living lives shaped by love rather than the ways of darkness. Together, these passages invite us to remember that our identity is not ultimately defined by possessions, accomplishments, failures, or the expectations of the world.
