Blind Spots

This Sunday at First Presbyterian Church This Sunday we continue our Lenten journey with Rev. Marion Redding Stenner bringing a message titled “Blind Spots.” Drawing from Psalm 23 and John 9:1–41, the story of Jesus healing a man born blind invites us to reflect on how sight and understanding are not always the same thing. While the man who was blind receives both physical and spiritual vision, those who believed they already understood the truth struggle to see what God is doing before them. Lent is a season that invites honest reflection. This Sunday’s worship encourages us to examine our own blind spots and to allow Christ—the light of the world—to illuminate our lives with grace and truth. Anthem: “The Kingdom of the Lord” — Junior Choir Worship begins at 10:30 AM, with Coffee Fellowship at 9:00 AM.

Who We Are

Our Members of Session (Elders)

The Elders at First Presbyterian Church oversee and guide the entire life, mission, and ministry of the church as it seeks to glorify God and love our neighbors. Each elder has been identified as a person of Christian character and has accepted ordination into leadership in the church.

Practically, they provide for the worship, finances, building, education, mission, and outreach of the church, doing so by modeling faithfulness in all these areas. They are the servant-leaders of the church.
