Installation Service for Rev. Scott Nowack
Special Installation Service – Sunday at 3:00 PM Join us for a special service of worship as the Presbytery of Scioto Valley gathers to install Rev. Scott Dennis Nowack as Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Marysville. This meaningful service celebrates God's call to ministry and the partnership between pastor and congregation. Through worship, prayer, Scripture, and the act of installation, we will affirm the shared ministry to which God has called Rev. Nowack and First Presbyterian Church. The service includes a sermon by Rev. Dr. Virginia Smith, titled “Can You Hear Me Now?”, based on 1 Samuel 3:1–10 and John 1:35–42, passages that explore God's call and our response. We invite members, friends, and guests to join us as we celebrate this important milestone in the life of our congregation. Installation Service at 3:00 PM First Presbyterian Church, Marysville

Who We Are
Our Members of Session (Elders)
The Elders at First Presbyterian Church oversee and guide the entire life, mission, and ministry of the church as it seeks to glorify God and love our neighbors. Each elder has been identified as a person of Christian character and has accepted ordination into leadership in the church.
Practically, they provide for the worship, finances, building, education, mission, and outreach of the church, doing so by modeling faithfulness in all these areas. They are the servant-leaders of the church.
