Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service of Shadows
This Thursday at First Presbyterian Church Join us for a special Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service of Shadows at First Presbyterian Church. This solemn and powerful service traces the final hours of Jesus’ life through Scripture, music, and the gradual extinguishing of light. From the Last Supper to the cross, we journey through betrayal, denial, suffering, and death — entering into the depth of Christ’s love and sacrifice. Tenebrae, meaning “darkness,” invites us into quiet reflection as each reading marks another shadow falling across the story. The service concludes in silence, leaving us to wait in the stillness of Good Friday. Service begins at 7:00 PM
