If You Love Me, Then Prove It
This Sunday at First Presbyterian Church It is easy to say the right thing. The harder question is whether our lives reflect what we say we believe. This Sunday, Rev. Scott Nowack will share a message titled “If You Love Me, Then Prove It,” drawing from Exodus 17:1–7 and Matthew 21:23–32. In Matthew, Jesus tells the story of two sons. One refuses his father’s request but later changes his mind and goes to work. The other immediately agrees, but never follows through. Jesus’ question is simple: which one actually did the will of the father? The story challenges us to look beyond words and intentions and consider how faith takes shape in our decisions, relationships, service, and obedience. Loving God is more than something we say — it becomes visible in the way we live. Anthem: “Come Now And Follow Me” — Senior Choir Worship begins at 10:30 AM, with Coffee Fellowship at 9:00 AM.
