From Pasture to Palace
Life with the Good Shepherd is not always meant for the fields. While we are in the pastures of life, it is good and well that we have such a faithful and true Shepherd. But the Shepherd is actually driving His flock to a destination, a goal – the palace. Sheep are, of course, fairly dirty creatures and not what you typically think about inhabiting a palace, but maybe that’s the point. Maybe the time with the Good Shepherd is meant to not only bring us to the palace, but transform us into the sort of creatures who deserve to live there.
