The Reformation
If anything, the Reformed motto is “Ecclesia Reformata, Semper Reformanda," the church reformed, ever reforming. It is both a culture, a way of going about things religiously, and a tradition, that which has been and continues to be. It is a church with a dynamic body, constantly reforming itself in light of scripture and the Holy Spirit. It is very close to repentance and rebirth, and might be better said to be the communal dimension of our personal repentance. As such, it shares the diversity and polarity of all human life, personal and social.
