The Gift of Bold Action

This Sunday at First Presbyterian Church As we continue the Epiphany season and our sermon series Gifts That Keep on Giving, Rev. Diane Flynn will share a message titled “The Gift of Bold Action.” Our Scripture reading from Matthew 4:12–23 tells the story of Jesus beginning his ministry and calling the first disciples. When Jesus says, “Follow me,” they leave their nets immediately — stepping into a new life of purpose, mission, and trust. This Sunday’s worship invites us to reflect on faith not only as belief, but as movement — courageous steps taken in response to God’s call. Epiphany reminds us that when Christ is revealed to us, we are also sent into the world to live that light through action. Anthem: “Gentle Spirit Dwell with Me” — Senior Choir Worship begins at 10:30 AM, with Coffee Fellowship at 9:00 AM.
