The Gift of Unbridled Curiosity

On this Sunday in the Epiphany season, we continue our sermon series Gifts That Keep on Giving with a message from Rev. Diane Flynn titled “The Gift of Unbridled Curiosity.” Our Scripture reading from John 1:29–42 introduces us to the first disciples and their initial encounter with Jesus. When they ask where he is staying, Jesus responds with a simple invitation: “Come and see.” This moment of curiosity becomes the beginning of transformation, discovery, and discipleship. This Sunday’s worship invites us to consider curiosity not as doubt, but as a holy openness — a willingness to follow, to ask questions, and to see where Christ is already at work in our lives and in the world. Anthem: “Precious Jesus” — Senior Choir Worship begins at 10:30 AM, with Coffee Fellowship at 9:00 AM.
