Sharing the Light: Finishing Well
This Sunday at First Presbyterian Church What does it mean to finish well? This Sunday, Rev. Scott Nowack begins our “Sharing the Light” stewardship emphasis with a message titled “Finishing Well,” drawing from Psalm 65 and 2 Timothy 4:6–8, 16–18. Near the end of his ministry, Paul looks back and says, “I have fought the good fight; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith.” Even after experiencing abandonment and hardship, he recognizes that the Lord remained with him and gave him strength. As we begin our stewardship campaign, these words invite us to think about faithfulness not simply as how we begin, but how we continue—using our time, gifts, resources, and lives in ways that reflect the light of Christ. We will also celebrate Holy Communion, gathering at Christ’s table as one body and remembering the grace that sustains us along the way. Anthem: “We Come To Your Table, Lord” — Senior Choir Worship begins at 10:30 AM, with Coffee Fellowship at 9:00 AM.
