Seize Your Divine Moment

This Sunday at First Presbyterian Church There are moments in life when we are called not simply to observe, but to recognize what God is doing and respond. This Sunday, Rev. Scott Nowack will share a message titled “Seize Your Divine Moment,” drawing from Psalm 138 and Matthew 16:13–20. When Jesus asks his disciples, “Who do you say that I am?”, Peter answers with conviction: “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” It becomes a defining moment of faith — one in which recognition leads to responsibility, purpose, and a new understanding of what God is calling him to do. Psalm 138 reminds us that God remains faithful even in the midst of trouble and will fulfill God’s purpose for us. Together, these passages invite us to pay attention to the moments God places before us and to respond with faith, courage, and trust. Special Music: “Thy Word” — Amanda Conti, Emily Mathys, D’Anna Nowack, Laura Perkins Worship begins at 10:30 AM, with Coffee Fellowship at 9:00 AM.
