CloseRev. Diane Flynn - November 30, 2025
Quick, Look Busy!
This Sunday at First Presbyterian Church Today is a special service as we celebrate the Hanging of the Greens — the beginning of Advent, a season of preparation, expectation, and hope. Together we decorate the sanctuary, light the first Advent candle, and reflect on the meaning behind the evergreens, ornaments, angels, nativity, and symbols of Christ’s coming. Rev. Diane Flynn brings the message “Quick, Look Busy!” as part of our Waiting Well series, drawing from Matthew 24:36–44, a reminder to remain awake, alert, and ready for Christ’s arrival. Anthem: “Advent Celebration” — Adult Choir Worship begins at 10:30 AM, with Coffee Fellowship at 9:00 AM.
