Lazarus, Come Out!
This Sunday at First Presbyterian Church This Sunday we continue our Lenten journey as Rev. Marion Redding Stenner brings a message titled “Lazarus, Come Out!” Drawing from Ezekiel 37:1–14 and John 11:1–44, we encounter two powerful visions of life emerging from death. In Ezekiel’s vision, dry bones are brought back to life by the breath of God. In John’s Gospel, Jesus calls Lazarus out of the tomb, demonstrating that even death itself is not beyond the reach of God’s power. These stories remind us that God’s work is not finished, even in places that seem lifeless or beyond hope. This Sunday’s worship invites us to trust in the God who brings new life, restoration, and resurrection. Anthem: “Healer of My Heart” — Senior Choir Worship begins at 10:30 AM, with Coffee Fellowship at 9:00 AM.
