CloseMarion Redding Stenner - March 1, 2026
In the Night
This Sunday we welcome Rev. Marion Redding Stenner, a retired Presbyterian minister who will be serving with us during the month of March. Rev. Stenner graduated from the College of Wooster and Princeton Theological Seminary and has served congregations in Vermont and Ohio. We are grateful for her leadership in worship during this season. Rev. Stenner will share a message titled “In the Night,” drawing from Romans 4:1–5, 13–17 and John 3:1–17, the story of Nicodemus visiting Jesus under the cover of darkness. Their conversation explores themes of faith, grace, and the mysterious work of the Spirit — reminding us that God often meets us in moments of questioning, searching, and quiet reflection. As we prepare to enter the season of Lent, this story invites us to consider how faith grows through trust in God’s grace and through openness to the new life Christ offers. Anthem: “You Are Mine” — Senior Choir Worship begins at 10:30 AM, with Coffee Fellowship at 9:00 AM.
Scripture References: Romans 4:1-5, 3 John 3:1-17, Romans 4:13-17
