Hide and Seek (Easter)
It’s probably more than a little flippant to cast Jesus’ empty tomb as His attempt at a game of Hide n’ Seek with Mary Magdalene and the other disciples, but that doesn’t mean that life after the resurrection isn’t somewhat like this game. After all, Paul writes to the Colossians that their lives are hidden with Christ, the same Christ who told us to seek first His Kingdom. Indeed, it is only because we’ve been hidden in Christ that we’re able to seek after Him and His resurrection. Also, life after the resurrection ought to be as joyful as a child’s game, full of laughter and delight.
