Friends
This Sunday at First Presbyterian Church This Sunday we continue our journey through the season of Lent, welcoming Rev. Marion Redding Stenner as she leads us in worship and reflection. Rev. Stenner will share a message titled “Friends,” drawing from Exodus 17:1–7 and John 4:5–29. These passages tell stories of thirst—both physical and spiritual. In the wilderness, God brings water from the rock for a thirsty people. At a well in Samaria, Jesus offers living water to a woman searching for something deeper than what the world provides. Together these stories remind us that God meets us in our need and offers grace that quenches more than our immediate thirst. This Sunday’s worship invites us to reflect on how Christ forms unexpected friendships and brings life-giving water into the dry places of our lives. Anthem: “Come Just As You Are” — Senior Choir Worship begins at 10:30 AM, with Coffee Fellowship at 9:00 AM.
