Blessed and Blessing Saints

As we remember the dead on the church’s version of Memorial Day–All Saints Day–we seek comfort in knowing that “Blessed are those who mourn.” Yet we do not only dwell in our sorrow, but cast our eyes forward to the day when we shall see and join all the saints in their blessing God. Indeed, how well we can see and know the blessings in our mourning directly correlates to how well we can see and know the coming life of blessing God.
