Fire and Rain
Across the world, right this moment, millions upon millions of people are suffering. From lack of clean water and food, to poisoned environments, to unbridled addictions, to squalid living conditions, to prejudice, to war, and even beyond, millions are suffering and what compounds their agony is the seeming triviality of it all. The people of God are not immune to suffering, but we have been given the great gift of both our assured victory over it and that suffering can be sanctified in our lives. Through it, we can glorify God and transform the lives of our neighbors.
Scripture References: Psalms 68:8-20, 1 Peter 3:13-17
