Called to Do Hard Things
This Sunday at First Presbyterian Church This Sunday we celebrate Trinity Sunday, reflecting on the mystery and majesty of God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Rev. Scott Nowack will share a message titled “Called to Do Hard Things,” drawing from Genesis 1:1–2:4a and Matthew 28:16–20. From the creation of the world to Christ’s commission to his disciples, these passages remind us that God calls ordinary people into extraordinary acts of faith, service, and discipleship. The Great Commission is not merely a command for the first disciples—it is an invitation for every generation to participate in God's ongoing work in the world. This Sunday’s worship encourages us to trust God's presence and guidance as we respond to that calling. We will also celebrate the reception of new members into the life of our congregation, giving thanks for the ways God continues to grow and strengthen the church. Anthem: “Family of Christ” — Junior & Senior Choirs Worship begins at 10:30 AM, with Coffee Fellowship at 9:00 AM.
