You have heard talks on both Community and Harmony as our first two letters in the sabbatical theme “CHUG.” The third letter, U, is for Unity.
Unity is defined as the state of being joined together or in agreement. Is unity easy to achieve? No. General Patton once said, “If everyone is thinking alike, then someone isn’t thinking.”
We all have and do bring different views to issues. It is, therefore, necessary to communicate and compromise. Your Session asks for your prayers and support as we strive to do exactly that, to “join together” in unity.
