Blessings in a Backpack
Blessings in a Backpack is a results-oriented program, designed to feed elementary school children whose families qualify for the federal Free and Reduced Price Meal program, and have little or no food on the weekends. Every Friday, students receive a bag full of non-perishable food that requires little to no preparation.
Boy Scouts of America
Preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Youth are trained in responsible citizenship, character development, and self-reliance through participation in a wide range of outdoor activities, educational programs, and, at older levels, career-oriented programs in partnership with community organizations.

Preparing girls to empower themselves by promoting compassion, courage, confidence, leadership, entrepreneurship, and active citizenship through activities involving camping, community service, learning First Aid, and earning badges by acquiring practical skills.

Lower Lights Christian Health Center
A patient-centered medical home committed to delivering high-quality, affordable health care services to all, no matter the income or insurance status. LLCHC ministers the love of Christ, focuses on whole-person wellness, and treats patients with respect, dignity, and compassion.
Marysville Food Pantry
Provides approximately 400 families per month with a variety of food that has been graciously donated by the community.
Mouth of the Wolf Productions
Provides youth theatre classes throughout Central Ohio that empower students to explore their creativity, enhance their self-image, and express their dreams.
Union County Military Family Support Group
Founded in 2003, the Union County MFSG provides support to Union County (Ohio) area active duty and reservists, along with veterans and their families. The goals of UCMFSG are to identify and communicate with all military service members and their families, and to link local service members to each other, for mutually supportive communications and beneficial social experiences. They also network with military individuals, families, and units within Union County, and with local veteran organizations, service groups, businesses, and governmental and community agencies, and establish fund-raising procedures and events to generate tax-deductible donations to fund projects and activities, and provide goods, services, and financial aid benefiting military families.
Union County Neighbor to Neighbor
A grass-roots movement established to enhance quality of life by deploying certified volunteers to help Union County residents with household tasks and transportation. Neighbor-to-Neighbor also connects members to social and wellness programs, and offers access to pre-screened service providers at a reduced cost.
Wings Support & Recovery
A consumer-operated organization that strives to combat the stigma of mental illness and addiction in our community by providing a place where the strengths and talents of individuals are celebrated, and efforts are made to advocate for the rights, privileges, and well-being of both clients and their families.

Ways to Serve Through FPC
Friend to Friend
FPC is a church for all seasons, and often those seasons come with small needs–meals following a birth, help with yard work after surgery, hemming a skirt before a job interview, running errands for someone who’s temporarily unable to drive, babysitting for a couple in need of a night out, etc. The opportunities are endless!

Likewise, if you would be willing to be called upon in service to one another, be it in any of the examples listed above or beyond, please prayerfully consider the areas, skills/talents, and/or hobbies you would be willing to share with a fellow member of our congregation in need of assistance and fill out this form.
Mission Trip (Point Pleasant)
Every year, representatives from three Presbyterian churches (FPC, Dublin Presbyterian Church, and Plain City Presbyterian Church) travel together for missions. They’ve been to New Orleans (after Katrina), Oak Island, TX (after Hurricane Ike), Tuscaloosa (following a tornado), Cedar Rapids, IA (after a flood), and Brooklyn, NY (after Hurricane Sandy).
The last few years, they’ve gone to Point Pleasant, WV, to help in economically depressed areas with a focus on aiding the elderly and/or disabled with projects like porches, steps, railings, and handicap ramps that help residents maintain independence.
We will return to Point Pleasant, WV, June 20-26, 2021!
Mission Fundraisers
Taco Tuesday
We count ourselves blessed to have local restaurants that have partnered with our church to fund various missions efforts!
“Meals for Mission” is a recurring fund-raiser at Fiesta Grande, and plans for other partners are in the works.
Proceeds benefit missions trips and many of the community mission partners listed above.
