Time to Go Back to Reality
This Sunday at First Presbyterian Church As we continue through the Easter season, we reflect on what happens after the mountaintop moments of faith — when we are called to return to the world and live out the mission Christ has given us. Rev. Scott Nowack will share a message titled “Time to Go Back to Reality,” drawing from Psalm 68 and Acts 1:6–14, where the disciples witness the ascension of Jesus and are reminded that their calling is not to stand still looking upward, but to move forward in faith and witness. These passages remind us that God’s presence does not disappear when extraordinary moments end. Instead, we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to carry hope, courage, and grace into everyday life. This Sunday’s worship invites us to consider how faith shapes the realities we return to each week — our homes, work, relationships, and communities. Anthem: “In My Father’s House” — Senior Choir Worship begins at 10:30 AM, with Coffee Fellowship at 9:00 AM.
