The Gift of Outrageous Grace
This Sunday at First Presbyterian Church As we continue through the Epiphany season and our sermon series Gifts That Keep on Giving, Rev. Diane Flynn will share a message titled “The Gift of Outrageous Grace.” Our Scripture reading from Matthew 5:21–37 continues Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, where he deepens the meaning of the commandments and calls his followers to lives marked by reconciliation, integrity, and truth. These teachings stretch beyond surface-level obedience and invite us into hearts transformed by grace. This Sunday’s worship challenges us to consider what it means to live honestly, love deeply, and extend the same grace we have received from God. As Epiphany draws toward Lent, we are invited to examine our lives in the light of Christ’s teaching.
