Matthew 7:13-21
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it” (Matthew 7:13, 14).
The broad road is paved with falsehoods, disobedience and conflict. When the final destination is “destruction,” why do so many people prefer and choose the wide gate and the broad road?
The narrow gate is easy to miss. It is small, difficult to navigate, and limiting, demanding obedience and courage. To enter the narrow gate we must leave behind sin and selfish ambition and following the teachings of Jesus.
As it says in John 10:9 “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
